We finished the day today with a lovely surprise from Gretchin – Halloween cup cakes in black and orange! Thank you very much to Gretchen and Finn. The foundation children came trick or treating this morning too!
1/2T were very brave during that incredible thunderstorm today! It was terribly exciting while we were trying hard to sort out our push and pull photos we took last week. Apart from one very loud and still unknown bang on the roof, and quite a bit of water near our windows we (and our classroom) […]
Just a reminder that tomorrow is school photo day. Please make sure your child has their order with the correct money inside the envelope. All children will have photos taken regardless of whether you order photos so you can still change your mind if you want to order. We have PE tomorrow but please DO […]
This week we have worked really hard making comparisons between our 3 chosen authors. We used a 3 way Venn Diagram to do some quite complicated comparisons. The entry cost is Rp20,000 per person and there will be food items for sale such as sausages, hamburgers, cupcakes, treats, […]
Tomorrow we farewell our very dear friend Hani who heads back to Pakistan with his Dad next week. We will have a little Pizza Party for Hani after snack. I recommend that children just bring their snack and lunch as usual but we will all get to enjoy some pizza as well.
We had a lovely walk this morning and noticed many many things in our local environment. If you talk to your child after school today I am sure they will be able to list lots of the things we saw. We are also in the process of drawing a map of the route we took. […]
On Friday little square sign up forms for a Readathon went home. This is a charity that raises money for children and young people with serious illness, mal-nutrion and poor education. This readathon is entirely optional and I realise it comes at a rather inconvenient time as we have just had our annual walkathon and […]
Good morning all. Just a reminder that we are going on our local walk this morning. There are 3 students who have not yet returned their permission forms. Please make sure you send it in today as I am unable to take children who have not returned a signed permission form :-))
